What is herbal medicine?

Herbal medicine is the use of plant remedies in the treatment of disease.

It is the oldest and most widely practiced form of medicine.

Whole plant preparations are used to treat the whole person. Herbalism can be used as a preventative medicine as well as a supportive treatment to improve the general health and vitality of the patient. It is suited to people of all ages and most conditions can be helped by herbal medicine.
